
Kimberly-Jayson Corp., based in Irving, Texas, announced a $30 million investment to expand and improve its Berkley Mill nonwovens plant in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The facility produces nonwovens for major North American personal care brands including Depend, Poise, and U by Kotex.
The two-year expansion project is projected to create 14 new jobs. According to plant manager Ernest Humphries, the investment combined with employee dedication and community support will “bolster the mill’s competitiveness and position us for continued success.”
Michael Edney, chairman of the Henderson County Board of Commissioners, expressed support for the expansion, noting that Kimberly-Jayson is “a legacy employer in our county” and stating the county looks forward to continued partnership.

Color Solutions International released an improved fifth edition of their Color Analysis report. The report expanded use of their proprietary Relative Color Popularity (RCP) process, which combines “color validation with trend color forecasting.” The analysis is organized into four categories to support color selection validation.
